Lunchbox Went to Estate Sale at Sheryl Crow’s House

During a segment on The Bobby Bones Show, Lunchbox shared that he recently visited Sheryl Crow’s home for an estate sale.

When asked if Crow knew he was there, Lunchbox admitted that he did not speak with her. He explained that the visit was prompted by his wife, who told him about the estate sale happening at Crow’s house. Lunchbox is not typically interested in estate sales but was intrigued by the opportunity to see inside Crow’s home. He confirmed that the sale took place at her main residence and that guests were allowed to walk through certain areas of the house, though some spaces were restricted.

While inside, Lunchbox said the home featured a vintage and antique style, noting that the decor reflected an older aesthetic rather than personal photos of Crow. He also pointed out that the property included longhorn cattle grazing on the land, which stood out to him. His wife limited him to taking photos only of the livestock outside, refusing to let him take pictures inside the house. Lunchbox said the experience was surreal, saying it felt strange to be walking through Crow’s home while browsing items for sale. Lunchbox purchased two items during the visit. The first was a pair of bricks featuring guitar designs, which he said were originally from Belmont University and had been acquired during a remodel. The bricks cost about $20 each. The second item was a print of a tree with hand-drawn details, which he purchased for $50. He noted that while some items were reasonably priced, many pieces of furniture were significantly more expensive with some costing around $1,000. Despite that, Lunchbox mainly wanted something small to bring home so he could tell people it came from Crow’s house.

The visit inspired the show to sing their favorite songs by Crow, mentioning tracks like “All I Wanna Do,” “If It Makes You Happy,” “Strong Enough,” and “Everyday Is a Winding Road.” Lunchbox confirmed that Crow was not present during the estate sale. He described the experience as unusual but enjoyable, adding that he now plans to share the story behind his purchases with anyone who visits his home.
