Bailey Zimmerman Postpones Shows Amid Illness: 'I Hate Letting Y’all Down'

Bailey Zimmerman postponed two performances because he has “not been feeling well.”

The “Chevy Silverado” artist, 26, confirmed he would reschedule his shows because of an unspecified illness in a statement he posted on Wednesday (May 27). Zimmerman was set to perform that evening at Sandia Resort & Casino Amphitheater in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was also set to take the stage on Saturday (May 30) at The Event at Graton Resort & Casino in Rohnert Park, California. Both shows will take place at a later date.

“Y’all know there’s nothing I love more than getting out on the road and playing these shows for you, so it’s so hard for me to have to say this, but I have to reschedule tonight’s (5/27) and Saturday’s (5/30) shows,” Zimmerman stated. “I have not been feeling well and have tried to power through, but I’m not able to give you all the show you deserve.

“I hate letting y’all down and was really looking forward to these shows, but I gotta take care of myself so I can get back out there stronger,” he continued. “We will be announcing the rescheduled dates as soon as possible, and all tickets will be honored for the new dates. Love y’all so much, and I appreciate the prayers and understanding — I’ll see you real soon.”

Zimmerman has not announced the new dates as of publication time on Thursday morning (May 28). The country star is in the midst of his first-ever headlining arena tour, delivering high-energy renditions of his hit country songs and fan-favorite covers (he released his version of “The Climb,” which Miley Cyrus performed in the Hannah Montana movie, earlier this month). He confirmed this week that he's bringing the tour to Australia this fall. See Zimmerman's remaining dates on the “Different Night Same Rodeo Tour” below.
