Carrie Underwood wore a vibrant purple gown with a bold flower in her hair during the latest episode of American Idol on Monday evening (March 23).
Underwood wore a colorful maxi dress with a flowing skirt and dramatic long sleeves. She accessorized the look with stunning jewelry pieces and a flower in her beach-worthy, wavy hair. It’s the latest in a series of gorgeous tropical looks while Underwood and her fellow Idol judges watch contestants perform in Hawaii.
The eight-time Grammy winner won the show’s fourth season in 2005. Longtime host Ryan Seacrest crowned her the winner, and the pair reunited when Underwood joined the show for her first-ever year as a judge last year. She returned for her second consecutive season as a judge in 2026, alongside Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan. Keke Palmer and Brad Paisley joined the competition show as guest mentors this season.

Bryan is part of the star-studded lineup of the 2026 iHeartCountry Festival. The show also includes Carly Pearce, Kane Brown, Parker McCollum, Riley Green, Shaboozey, Dylan Scott, Russell Dickerson, Gretchen Wilson, Chase Matthew and Lauren Alaina. iHeartRadio's Bobby Bones is returning as the event’s host. The show will take place on May 2 at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Tickets to the show are available as of January 23. Fans across the country will be able to catch all the action as the 2026 iHeartCountry Festival will be broadcast live across iHeartCountry stations nationwide and the free iHeartRadio app on Saturday, May 2nd at 8pm ET/5pm PT (7pm CT).
