National Trick or Treat Day?

We've been talking about that petition on Change.org about how people want Halloween moved from October 31st to the last Saturday in October. The last we checked, it had over 150,000 signatures. These people actually want the government to move the date of Halloween.

It doesn't look like the date change is happening, so the people behind it are trying a new strategy. Rather than moving Halloween, they want to make a new holiday.

What will they call it? It would be called National Trick or Treat Day and it would be held on the final Saturday of October.

And guess what? It's actually been added to the National Day Calendar website...whatever that means.

Does this have the chance of really catching on? I guess we will have to wait and see!
