My friend Matt from the Anna Shelter paid us a visit this morning! He brought this beautiful girl along with him. Her name is Addie. What's her story?

Hi There! My name is Addie. I am a 4 year old spayed female Shepherd/Retriever mix and I currently weigh 43 pounds. I was found wandering loose as an injured stray and was picked up by the county dog warden. I was seen by a vet immediately upon arriving at the shelter, as the staff could tell I was painful and barely putting weight on one of my back legs. Upon examination the vet suspected that I may have gotten struck by a vehicle and I was placed on 2 different pain medications along with strict cage rest in order to heal. I’m looking and feeling sooo much better and I have finally been released off my medical hold! I am now searching for a forever family to call my own. I seem to get along well with most other laid back dogs. I have not yet been tested around cats and/or children. If you think I could be a great addition to your family, please stop on down and spend some time with me.
