Please meet James South. He lives in the Brookdale Watauga Assisted Living Community, near Dallas Texas. He's a World War Two vet and he wants something for his birthday. James is hoping to get 100 birthday cards for his 100th birthday. He wants to decorate his room with the cards and his late wife is one of the reasons he thought of the idea.
While they were dating during World War Two, she wrote him a letter EVERY DAY that he was gone and fighting overseas. They were married for 55 years until she passed away in 2001. James then lived on his own until two years ago, when he moved into the Assisted Living Community.
His birthday is on October 7th, which is still a few weeks out. Let's make sure he gets his 100 cards for his 100th birthday! Here's his address:
