32 days until Halloween!

It's the dentist's favorite holiday! And truth be told... mine too!

BUT... (ya knew that was coming)

Don't buy your Halloween candy now. You'll just wind up eating the entire bag and then you'll have to go buy more next month. #truth

But when you DO buy your Halloween candy this year, here's what kids actually want. According to a new survey of kids ages eight to 17, the 10 most popular are:

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers, Twix, Kit Kat, M&M's, Nerds, Butterfinger, Sour Patch Kids, Skittles, and Hershey bars.

Tootsie Rolls came in last in the survey with just 1% of the vote. I don't mind Tootsie Rolls, but those fruit ones are just plain NASTY!

Candy corn and Smarties tied for second-worst . . . they each got 2%.

CONFESSION TIME: I buy the candies that I enjoy most and keep it hidden in the house Halloween night unless I ABSOLUTELY need it. I buy the cheaper, yucky candy and hand that out first. We trick-or-treat the first hour and come home. I go through the candy, inspect it, and put what we don't like in our pass out bowl to "regift"! lol

So wrong, I know. But 100% true.

I also go out to the store either that night or the next day and buy up the discounted candy and decorations for next year. ;)
