Kacey Musgraves hilariously dressed as Ronnie Dunn over the weekend in Nashville, Tennessee.

Musgraves, 37, reportedly made a surprise appearance at Robert’s Western World, one of the historic honky tonks along Broadway in downtown Nashville. The history-making Grammy winner, disguised as the Brooks & Dunn star, took the stage with a rendition of the duo’s early 90s single, “Neon Moon.” Musgraves referenced her new single as she posted a clip on Instagram on Sunday (March 22), with text that reads, “omw [on my way] to end your dry spell.”

Musgraves added in the comments that Dunn, 72, “did nothing to deserve this,” and credited “Ronnie’s glam team.” Dunn himself, who is half of the legendary duo with Kix Brooks, replied in the comments, “I look good!”

Musgraves recently announced her sixth studio album, Middle of Nowhere, and released the first song from the 13-track project, “Dry Spell,” after sharing cheeky teasers on social media. The Texas-born country artist features collaborations with Gregory Alan Isakov, Billy Strings, Miranda Lambert and Willie Nelson, among other highlights on the highly-anticipated project. Middle of Nowhere follows Deeper Well, the singer-songwriter’s fifth album that released in 2024. The new record is due on May 1.
