Ella Langley paid tribute to a music legend when she took the historic Grand Ole Opry stage on Tuesday evening (February 24) in Nashville, Tennessee.

Langley and other artists performed in honor of Ronnie Milsap, 83, celebrating his 50th anniversary of becoming a member of the Opry. She covered Milsap’s “Almost Like A Song” and “I Wouldn’t Have Missed It For The World” during the show, which also included Trace Adkins, Mark Wills, Keith Urban, Vince Gill, Blake Shelton, Milsap himself and the Tennessee School for the Blind Jazz Band.

“Tonight I got to honor one of my very favorites with one of my favorite songs to sing at one of my favorite places to play music,” Langley said as she shared a clip on Instagram of her rendition of “I Wouldn’t Have Missed It For The World.” Milsap released the heartfelt ballad in 1981:

“I wouldn't have missed it for the world/ Wouldn't have missed loving you girl/ You've made my whole life worth while/ With your smile/ I wouldn't trade one memory/ ‘Cause you mean too much to me/ Even though I lost you girl/ I wouldn't have missed it for the world”

That evening, the Grand Ole Opry also revealed the Opry NextStage Class of 2026, spotlighting “a new wave of talent” in the genre: Willow Avalon, Graham Barham, Tyler Braden, Carter Faith, Alexandra Kay, Vincent Mason, Emily Ann Roberts, Hudson Westbrook and Jake Worthington.

Langley is among the country artists nominated at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, returning this spring to Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. See the list of country artists nominated here.
