Parker McCollum shared a sweet shoutout to one of the genre’s biggest icons, Miranda Lambert, in an Instagram post on Sunday (February 22).
“She’s in The Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame now yall! Congrats ML!” McCollum celebrated in his caption. Lambert was inducted into the Hall of Fame with Don Cook, Keith Gattis and George Strait on Saturday (February 21) in Austin, Texas. McCollum was one of several artists to take the stage in Lambert’s honor that evening. He performed “Famous in a Small Town,” one of 11 tracks that appeared on Lambert’s second studio album, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, in 2007. Natalie Hemby and Ashley Monroe performed Lambert’s 2005 breakout single, “Kerosene,” and Lambert teamed up with The Marfa Tapes collaborators Jon Randall and Jack Ingram on “Tin Man.” Lambert replied in the comments on McCollum’s post: “Thank you pal. We do clean up good.”
McCollum is part of the star-studded lineup of the 2026 iHeartCountry Festival, along with Luke Bryan, Kane Brown, Riley Green, Shaboozey, Dylan Scott, Russell Dickerson, Gretchen Wilson, Chase Matthew and Lauren Alaina. iHeartRadio's Bobby Bones is returning as the event’s host.
