Brain Kelley addressed rumors about a Florida Georgia Line reunion when he and his wife, Brittney Kelley, appeared on a new episode of Country Outdoors.
Kelley, 40, and fellow singer-songwriter Tyler Hubbard, 39, formed Florida Georgia Line and began releasing hit singles in the 2010s. The iconic duo became known for “Cruise,” “This Is How We Roll,” “Stay,” “Round Here,” “H.O.L.Y.,” “May We All” and more. Kelley and Hubbard announced in February 2022 that they were “taking a break” as a duo to pursue solo projects. The two artists officially parted ways when they played their final FGL show in August 2022. Since then, however, fans have expressed eagerness for a reunion. Hubbard posted photos with Kelley at the 59th CMA Awards in November 2025, and last month Kelley took part in a viral social media trend to share that he’d been on a hike with Hubbard. He also shared a throwback photo from 2016 with Hubbard and “May We All” collaboration partner Tim McGraw.
During his appearance on Country Outdoors, a Field and Stream podcast, host Mary O'Neill Phillips asked Kelly about the possibility of a Florida Georgia Line reunion. Kelley laughed.
“Life is good right now,” Kelley said. “I can’t get on TikTok or Instagram without scrolling through and, you know, hearing a couple FGL songs, which is amazing. That run we went on was unbelievable. We’re just so grateful for that, and right now I think just working on our brotherhood is kind of top-tier, most important for us. And I think, you know, Lord willing, the brotherhood will lead its way home. So, we’ll see. But right now…I think we’re both focused on the friendship and working on our own stuff still, but I think time will tell and I’m excited about God can do. I think the options are endless right now. it’s really cool to see what time can do, as well. …But if I do think about it, it does excite me. So, we’ll see.”
Throughout the podcast, Kelley and his wife also talked about the outdoors, faith, Kelley’s solo music (including his new single “93 in the Keys”) and more. Find the full conversation on iHeartRadio here.
