Ella Langley released a raw, reflective track from her upcoming sophomore studio album on Friday (February 13).

Langley teamed up with Smith Ahnquist, Jordan Schmidt and Michael Hardy (HARDY) to write “Be Her.” The CMA- and ACM-winning country artist describes a woman living living a lifestyle she aspires to, and confesses in the vulnerable lyrics, “I just wanna be her so bad, it hurts so bad, it hurts so/ I just wanna be her, I just wanna be her.”

“I just wanna be her so bad, it hurts so bad, it hurts so/ I just wanna be her/ I just wanna be her/ I just wanna to be her so bad, it hurts so bad, it hurts so/ I just wanna be her/ I just wanna be her so bad/ It hurts so bad”

“Be Her” is the latest to arrive from Dandelion, Langley’s 18-track project that’s set to arrive this spring. So far, she’s delivered the title track and her record-breaking single, “Choosin’ Texas.” Langley teased “Be Her” earlier this week, including in a behind-the-scenes clip that showed a glimpse of a “hectic but smooth” routine. The Alabama-born hitmaker said she “did choreograph two state championship-winning dance team routines.” Dandelion will make its debut on April 10. Langley will kick off her headlining “Dandelion Tour” the following month, bringing special guests Kameron MarloweDylan MarloweKaitlin ButtsGabriella Rose and Laci Kaye Booth on select dates. See the dates here.

Langley is among the country artists nominated at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, returning this spring to Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. See the list of country artists nominated here.
