Luke Combs dropped out of the Madden Bowl concert ahead of Super Bowl LX as he and his wife get ready to welcome Baby No. 3.

EA Sports announced on Thursday (February 5) that Combs would no longer perform in the lineup of the event at Chase Center in San Francisco, California. The announcement stated that “Luke has to hold it down at home with a new one on the way,” and offered “all love for Luke and his family.” Zach Bryan, Teddy Swims, Stephen Wilson Jr., Gavin Adcock and LaRussell will take the stage at the event on Friday (February 6).

Combs said as he shared the update on his Instagram story: “So sorry to miss y’all at Madden Bowl, but family always comes first. Have a great time.”

Combs and his wife, Nicole Combs, announced in September 2025 that Nicole is pregnant with the couple’s third child. They shared a sweet video set to Combs’ “Days Like These,” sharing the moment they showed their two young sons the sonogram images. Combs and his wife welcomed their firstborn child, son Tex Lawrence Combs, on Father’s Day in June 2022. Baby No. 2, son Beau Lee Combs, arrived in August 2023. Nicole shared on her Instagram story after announcing her pregnancy that Tex and Beau were excited about their new sibling, and “they’ve been obsessed with babies and hugging/kissing my belly.” This time, the soon-to-be parents of three opted not to find out the gender of Baby No. 3 because “we are extremely happy either way, so why not be surprised,” Nicole shared.

Combs is one of several artists welcoming a baby into the family in 2026. Brandon Laine Coleman, lead singer of The Red Clay Strays, and wife Macie B. Coleman announced their “beautiful, perfect” baby girl’s arrival on Thursday. Others welcoming babies this year include Thomas RhettParker McCollum, iHeartRadio’s Bobby Bones and more. See the list of pregnancy announcements here.
