HARDY confirmed on Thursday morning (January 29) an all-star collaboration with Morgan Wallen, Eric Church and Tim McGraw will arrive “tonight.” He wrote in his caption on Instagram, along with a sneak peek of the unreleased song: “When you pass on, what you gonna pass down?”
The four artists stirred speculation about the collaboration on Monday (January 26), when they each posted cryptic clues on social media with references to a “McArthur” family. Each post included birth and death dates of fictitious McArthur relatives; however, the four country stars didn’t share any additional information at that time. Church reportedly told his audience during a recent headlining show in Washington, D.C., “on January 30, something is going to happen and you're going to f***ing love it.” Members of the McArthur family in the since-deleted teasers include:
- John McArthur b. November 2, 1920 d. November 22, 1963
- Junior McArthur b. September 2, 1945 d. April 4, 1967
- Jones McArthur b. June 5, 1968 d. January 5, 2025
- Hunter McArthur b. May 13, 1993
Wallen is among the country artists nominated at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, returning this spring to Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. See the list of country artists nominated here.
