Lee Brice shared a heartfelt update after his pregnant dog, Charlee, went missing.
Brice wrote in a post on Instagram that Charlee had been missing for about two weeks, after she’d “slipped away from home.” The country star said “our hearts have been heavy ever since. She’s not just a dog, she’s family. She’s pregnant, carrying those little pups, and every day that passes without her safe in our arms feels like a lifetime. We’ve searched every back road, called every shelter, and prayed harder than we ever have.”
The “Love Like Crazy” singer asked anyone in the area who might have seen a pregnant dog that looks like Charlee, “please message me, comment below, or share this post. Any little clue could bring her home to her babies... and to us. Thank y’all from the bottom of this worried heart. Your kindness and prayers mean the world.”
Brice confirmed in a heartfelt update on Tuesday (January 20) that Charlee is home.
He shared a glimpse of Charlee at home, and said “her little leg is broken,” but she’ll be OK. “She’s so happy to be home. I’m so happy to have her home. Thank y’all so much for all y’all did. …Man, (it took) 24 hours to find somebody so special. I appreciate y’all again and again.” Watch Brice’s sweet update on Charlee here:
