Kelly Clarkson took the stage with a powerful song by reigning Country Music Association Vocal Group of the Year The Red Clay Strays.
Clarkson performed “No One Else Like Me” on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Monday (January 12). The Red Clay Strays released the anthem in 2024 on the 11-track album, Made by These Moments: “Well, I'm a broken writer, I'm a restless fighter/ And I'm looking for a little hope/ I’m a shadowed thinker/ I’m a one-eyed blinker at the end of his rope/ I’m a dead man walking/ I’m a preacher talking about love and how to be free/ I’m a dying ghost with a heart like most/ But Lord, ain't no one else like me.”
The Red Clay Strays started in Mobile, Alabama, and went viral on TikTok with their 2022 single, “Wondering Why.” Since then, the country rockers have also become known for “People Hatin’,” “Wanna Be Loved,” “I’m Still Fine,” “Drowning” and more. The group is made up of Brandon Coleman, Drew Nix, Zach Rishel, Andrew Bishop, John Hall and Sevans Henderson. Clarkson has previously covered hits by Ella Langley, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, Riley Green, Shania Twain and many more.
