Megan Moroney confirmed plans to deliver the deluxe edition of her sophomore album shortly after sharing a sneak peek of one of the new songs. The CMA Award nominee will release Am I Okay? (I’ll Be Fine) with three new tracks, and Moroney shared brief stories behind each one when she made her deluxe album announcement on Tuesday morning (October 1).

  • “Break It Right Back”: “The love songs that start the album were short-lived and this song explains why.”
  • “Bless Your Heart”: “‘I’m Not Pretty’s older sister, written specifically for the internet (and real life) a**holes we all know and love.”
  • “I’ll Be Fine”: “The 6’2’’ dream and I broke up the day before I sang vocals for the title track. I remember being in the studio, holding back tears, thinking ‘how am I gonna sing this every night? Should I just trash this song and rename the album?’ I knew everything was gonna be fine but I needed to talk myself into it and that’s what this song is.”

Moroney released Am I Okay? in July, following her widely successful debut album, Lucky, and its deluxe edition last year. The original 14-track album included the title track, “No Called ID,” “Man on the Moon,” “28th of June,” “Indifferent,” “Third Time’s the Charm” and more. Last month, the Georgia-born singer-songwriter stirred anticipation for new music and a possible deluxe album when she shared a snippet of one of the unreleased songs. She simply captioned the audio clip, “sooooo yeah the third time was in fact not the charm.” Moroney seemingly hinted at the deluxe album’s title when she ended a message to her fans with “I’ll always be just fine.”

“During a crazy touring schedule, on 14 different occasions, I sat down and impulsively wrote exactly how I was feeling, whether it was right or wrong,” Moroney reflected in a handwritten note to her fans when Am I Okay? made its debut. “If Am I Okay? feels more honest and vulnerable than anything I’ve released, it’s because you guys have made me feel comfortable enough to do that. ...By the time you get to the end of the album, a valid question would be ‘omg…is she okay?’ And I just want y’all to know that with you by my side, I’ll always be just fine.”

Moroney is kicking off her headlining “Am I Okay? Tour” in early 2025. The reigning ACM New Female Artist of the Year announced at the time that she’ll “play some of my bucket list venues & it’s going to be a very ✨blue✨ very magical year on the road. i’m already counting down the days until i get to see your faces & all of your ‘homemade tshirts & homemade signs’ :,) i know i’ve said it a lot but thank you for making all of my dreams come true - just over the mooooooon that i get to do this 🥹🫶🏼🚀👑👙🎣.” See the dates here.

Am I Okay? (I’ll Be Fine) will arrive on Friday (October 4).
