Miranda Lambert turned heads when she arrived on the red carpet at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on Wednesday evening (September 11). The show took place at the UBS Arena in New York City
Lambert and her husband, former police officer and New Yorker Brendan McLoughlin, matched in stunning black suits with the singer-songwriter adding turquoise accents around the collar. Lambert shared a sneak peek of McLoughlin’s red carpet look on her Instagram story ahead of the couple’s arrival on Wednesday, showing that he’s “gussied up” for the event. Lambert posted two photos from the VMAs on Instagram on Thursday morning, referring to her husband as “my hot date,” and deeming Busta Rhymes “my new bestie.” The “Gunpowder and Lead” star is one of dozens of celebrities to present an award during the star-studded evening that honors the most memorable videos in music throughout the year. The genre-spanning lineup included Camila Cabello, Chappell Roan, GloRilla, Halsey, Lenny Kravitz, LL COOL J, Megan Thee Stallion, Sabrina Carpenter, Fat Joe, Eminem and more.
